About the serie «Soft collapse»: “Working with clay is a constant battle of control. I’ve spent years trying to gain some sort of control over a material with a strong will of its own. As I get closer to a «perfect» look and expression, I long for the clay to show me its true nature. So for this series I am trying to let go of the control I worked so hard to gain, and experiment with clay and glazes in new ways.”
