Artist: Olia Gorohova

Olia Gorohova is a visual artist, originally from Belarus who now lives and works in Oslo. Olia mainly works with the handicraft traditions of figurative porcelain. In the art series “Metanoia”, she turns to the subject of migration, to notions of otherness and foreignness, to the obstacles to being fully understood in an adopted place.
