The Alphonse Chair is a tubular aluminum chair that embodies the art of contrast. Designed with a minimalist and simple frame, the chair explores the juxtaposition of hard and soft elements. By using wider, round aluminum tubes and expanding the seat, the designers created a structure that, despite its sturdy material, conveys a softer, more inviting aesthetic.
A standout feature is the double pillow, designed to look as if it’s been gently pushed through the frame. This plush addition in soft fabric enhances comfort and adds a touch of warmth to the sleek design. The Alphonse Chair’s frame is versatile, allowing for various expressions through different pillow combinations. The Alphonse Chair represents the first of many potential variations, blending simplicity, comfort, and style.
