Eystein Sandnes was a very active designer. Production embraced everything from glass and porcelain to cutlery and door knobs. For the vast majority, Sandnes is still best known as chief designer for Porsgrund's Porcelain factory, where he worked for more than 30 years. Sandnes was also a designer for Magnor Glassverk and Stavangerflint. In addition, the book shows lesser -known work, such as ceramics jewelry and glass for Hadeland Glassworks.
