The Norwegian designers Morten Skjærpe Knarrum and Jonas Norheim are known by the name Morten & Jonas. After completing their master's degrees at Bergen Art and Design College, they established their studio in the city. Their furniture and lighting design is characterized by curiosity, playfulness and an uneartrated approach to form and function.
From the beginning, Morten & Jonas have used design as a platform for social agendas - including the inmates involved in the production of an early design for Northern. Since then, the duo has created a number of award -winning products, exhibited internationally and established itself as one of Norway's most recognized design players.
In the Northern collection, they are fully expired for their creative vision, where they combine multifunctional furniture with discreet lighting-while at the same time holding the role of Creative Directors for the brand.
