Nina is a (bio) material designer and researcher exploring material ecology and develops new biobased, biodegradable materials. Her latest project includes innovative composite material made of wool waste from textile production and a renewable biomass ties from the wood industry, created to shape acoustically absorbent interior objects.
Through a systematic process of testing, error, analysis and further experimentation, she combines scientific laboratory protocols with creative design practice. The goal is to create debate, where her holistic and practical approach offers both ethical and creative material solutions.
Nina is an optimistic voice for a sustainable future, rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration, material research and a deep understanding of architecture, design and the environment.
