Among several hundred weather -born islands, in the midst of the crystal clear water in the fjords in Western Norway, lies Fitjar Islands Foundry; A craft workshop for soap and fragrance design.

The islands, shaped by the passage of time and the harsh Nordic climate, are mostly uninhabited and isolated. The vegetation is wild, sparse and poetically beautiful. It is impossible not to be gripped by the power of wilderness here. The biting cold wind fills the ever -changing landscape with new fragrance shades every single moment. A quiet winter morning carries the breeze with the cool freshness of the nearby glacier, mixed with spruce undertones and juniper bushes adorning the islands. In the spring, it adds purple Lyngen's sweet, gentle notes.

Based on traditional soap production techniques and with exceptional attention for crafts and quality, Fitjar embraces the importance of the process in small -scale production. Here, the beauty and humor of the small perpeticities that arise by a craft -based method are celebrated.

Everything happens in our workshop at Fitjar, where each batch is made with care and under strict quality checks. Each Fitjar Islands product can be traced back to a real place and a real person, so customers know where the products come from and how they are made.

Fitjar Islands only uses high -quality ingredients that are mild and gentle. We always maintain the highest standards for safety and product performance. Our products do not contain SLS/Sles, parabens, mineral oils, artificial dyes or synthetic perfumes, and are ideal for sensitive skin. Most of the range is vegan, and absolutely nothing is tested on animals.
