Thelma is a student at the carpenter line in Mysen and holds a bachelor's degree in social anthropology from the University of Oslo. Her work combines crafts with a deep understanding of heritage and sustainability.
In the spring of 2023, she carried out a redesign project in which she explored the emotional and historical ties in furniture. By using materials from a desk that has been inherited through generations in her family, she created a new form - a challenge in giving new life to a dear heirloom.
Her approach is about uniting tradition and modernity, where old objects are transformed with respect for their history.
