Snøhetta is an interdisciplinary design and architecture studio that combines architecture, landscape design, interior, product design, graphic and digital design. With a dialogue -driven approach, they create projects that strengthen the connection between people, places and surroundings.
The name is taken from the majestic Snøhetta mountain in Norway-a symbol of openness and accessibility. The studio got its first major assignment in 1989 with Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, followed by iconic projects such as the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in Oslo and 9/11 Memorial Museum Pavilion in New York.
Today, Snøhetta is an internationally recognized actor who is constantly challenging the boundaries of design and architecture, with a vision of creating inclusive and inspiring space for people around the world.
