Rasmus Stride (b. 1990) is a digital artist and experience designer based in Oslo. He works at the intersection of the physical and digital, where he uses tools such as 3D rounds and virtual reality to create compositions that balance reality and imagination.
“I am fascinated by how technology can expand our experience of reality. This interest arose when I first experienced Your Atmospheric Color Atlas by Olafur Eliasson. The experience opened my eyes to how light and architecture affect our senses. ”
Through its work with three -dimensional rooms, both physical and digital, Rasmus draws inspiration from performance art, architecture and design. Music and performing arts also play a key role in his process, and his many years of experience as creative director of the Roskilde Festival has had a great influence on his work.
