Patterns that take you on travel
Many of the Patterns' designs are inspired by nature - from the lush forest floor and fog -bored mountains to clusters of jellyfish and dried flowers. Unique design with a Scandinavian soul "When you see beauty in everyday life, it becomes ordinary extraordinary."
This philosophy is the core of Kiki's design universe. She explores unexpected materials and transforms them into elegant, poetic patterns. What do you really see when you look at her work? Maybe not immediately what you think. Crushed eggshells turn into a delicate egg shell pattern. Remains of model clay are transformed into soft, organic shapes. Moss from the forest floor becomes the sensory textile star moss. It is in these small, often translating the details that the magic occurs.
"I am fascinated by Biophil Design - how we humans are naturally drawn to nature, and how important it is to bring it into our homes. Biophilia is about our innate connection to the natural world. When we surround ourselves with elements from nature, we both get happier and get better mental health. I want to
create this connection through nature -inspired patterns - let
my eyes wander, the thoughts drive off, just like in nature. ” -Kiki Plesner-Löfroth
