Jone Myking is a furniture mark with a focus on responsible material use and sustainable production. Each piece of furniture is handled in Norway by selectively harvested pine from Telemark, where traditional crafts techniques are combined with a modern design language to highlight the natural properties of the material.
Founder Jone Myking has a strong connection to folk art and design, with education from the Department of People's Culture at USN and a bachelor's degree in product design from OsloMet. His bachelor's project was nominated as Norway's finalist in the Nordic Council of Ministers' competition for sustainable chairs.
