Oslo-based Hallgeir Homstvedt (b. 1977) completed his industrial design studies in Australia before returning to Norway and established his own studio in 2009. With a sharp focus on furniture and lighting, he has created timeless designs that have been exhibited throughout the world-from Oslo and London to Tokyo.
Through his career, Homstvedt has received a number of awards, and his works are produced by both Norwegian and international brands such as Stellar Works, Le Klint, Hjelle and Røros Tweed. His aesthetics are characterized by pure lines, functional elegance and an intuitive understanding of materials.
