Hae Yoon is an Oslo-based artist and designer, who recently created the design for Novooi's (Re) Made exhibition. She has previously co-designed the permanent Edvard Munch exhibition Shadows at the new Munch Museum in Bjørvika, as well as the permanent exhibition at the Henrik Ibsen Museum in Grimstad. Her art is also exhibited at the contemporary artistic gallery Kösk in Oslo.

Her work revolves around two key themes: reflections on childhood challenges in South Korea, and how we perceive our surroundings-through light, everyday objects and their location in the room. Geometric shapes in her drawings act as invitations to the subconscious, while graphic elements and graded shades erase the boundaries between the viewer's physical spaces and the artist's inner landscape.

"When I designed for customers, I always had a draw against creating something that reflected my own stories and thoughts." This driving force led her to explore the feeling of space through drawing. “Drawing is the purest form of imagination. We instinctively grab by pen and paper to capture an idea or a sudden inspiration. Through drawing, I want to convey feelings and thoughts as clean as possible. ”

Currently, HAE is expanding her practice from paper drawings to felt, where she builds images with the same method, using locally produced materials.
