During life, we all move on a scale between Frenzy and Coma. Sometimes we are brave and curious - we want to get out of the comfort zone, challenge ourselves and play with style, interior and lifestyle. Other times we need peace - a break from everything, where harmony and balance are at the center.
In the span between the wild and the calm we find the satisfaction of life. At Amokamok we want to offer products that reflect you and your life - whether you love minimalism or maximalism, playfulness or silence, madness or tranquility.
We hope we can inspire you - and maybe challenge you - to explore where you are on the scale.

Organic, sustainable and luxurious cotton
We love cotton - and it's not without reason. Cotton is soft, absorbent, breathable and easy to maintain. But unfortunately, conventional cotton production has one of the largest environmental impacts globally. It requires huge amounts of water, and the use of pesticides and chemicals damages both humans and nature.
In an unclear market, we need security. In Norway, products can be labeled as "organic", although only a small proportion of the material is actually organic. That is why we use only GOTS-certified organic cotton in our fabrics-so you can be assured that our cotton is really sustainably produced.
What is Gots?
GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard - is an internationally recognized certification for organic fabrics. GOTS places strict requirements for the environment, health and working conditions throughout the production process - from cultivation and spinning to staining, packaging and transport.
From Portugal to Norway
Our cotton is colored in Portugal, pressed in Spain and sewn together in Portugal. In order to carry the GOTS mark, a textile product must contain at least 70 % certified organic fibers-and in our bed textiles we use 100 % organic cotton.
We also go a step further:
GOTS-approved dyes and details-strict restrictions on zippers, buttons and textile accessories.
OEKO-TEX® certified-no allergenic or carcinogenic dyes used in production.
